For All Medicare-Certified Home Health Agencies

Home health agencies are facing a change effective January 1, 2022, regarding the NOA (Notice of Admission).

RAPs (Request for Anticipated Payment) will be eliminated, and home health agencies will only need to submit a one-time Notice of Admission, effective for a claim on and after January 1, 2022.

NOA – Notice of Admission Webinar

We’ll be having a live webinar on October 20th with the breakdown of what you really need to know about the NOA and how this transition will affect your billing.

In the meantime, for more information, we’ve found the document “Request for Anticipated Payment Versus Notice of Admission” to be a very valuable resource that explains the difference very well.
